As a high school senior, I hold little credibility when it comes to topics as big as climate change. That's why when I was completing this project, I questioned my sources and checked multiple areas to make sure the information I had was accurate for others.
This discussion about climate change isn't new. Scientists have analyzed trends that have been occurring on Earth in regards to climate, weather patterns, and ocean life for years. They have identified why climate change is an issue worth taking seriously.
I was able to read about their research and record the information I felt was the most vital to know in order to understand the problem. If I was to take the first information I found without double-checking its origin, most of the facts I had would be wrong.

The effects of climate change are felt by people all across the globe. The sooner we realize how real of an issue this is, the quicker we can make changes to help our planet. If we don't act now, millions will suffer the consequences that climate change brings.

If nobody takes a stand, nothing will change. The idea is to create a ripple effect of change within the world. If one person is able to break the boundaries that society, the government, and businesses are putting in front of them, everybody else will follow. The idea of my project is to be that person. Make that change in your life, and push others to do the same.
