During these circumstances, finding a mentor came to be a difficult task. I contacted Mrs. Gray, our school librarian and one who has had plenty of experience with Expo Fest. It was a challenge to find a time when she could join our daily meetings, as she had meetings of her own and classes to teach for the 6th graders. We finally agreed on a Wednesday where she would join my team's breakout room (development). Although the meeting was cut short because of a teacher meeting, she gave us some helpful tips. Other members of my group contacted additional potential mentors but we could never find a time to meet, other than our only discussion with Mrs. Gray.
