The Problem
One problem that we are having due to Covid- 19 is a safe way to go to a restaurant and have outdoor seating without getting contaminated. Restaurants have set up plastic dividers to minimize contact and some have resorted to putting in outdoor domes. Although without the proper ventilation system, the domes can be hazardous.
The Solution
To re-imagine this dome tent for safe occupation of people, I will attach a vacuum on the top of the dome to take out the contaminated air. Air flows from the bottom reaches the top and then runs down the side.Two more vents can be placed at the bottom of the dome to take out some of the leftover, contaminated air. These two vents will also bring in pure air. I will be conducting science experiments and improving my design based on the data I collect.
