Stylo is a reimagined dog crate, focusing on catering to dogs with mild to severe separation anxiety. Using a camera, microphone, lights, and its comfortable design, dogs are predicted to feel much more safe and secure, even when their owners are away. According to our research and our mentor, many people have adopted new puppies over the quarantine, and now are starting to go back to work again. This is a huge issue, because these dogs won't be used to their owners being away, and many may develop some form of separation anxiety. Stylo will fix this growing concern by providing a safe space for these dogs to wait for their owner's return, and to put owners' minds at ease that both their dog and their home is safe. Stylo features a comfortable, waterproof bed and a microphone, camera, and lights that are all controlled through our app. This lets owners check in on their dogs and allows the dg to feel more comfortable. Instead of wires, we use bars on our crate to prevent dogs from getting stuck, or hurting themselves. According to our surveys and secondary research, the market for Stylo is enormous, and still growing. Many people we asked either have dogs with separation anxiety or dogs who aren't well behaved left out of their crates while the owner is away. Stylo solves both these issues, and includes many features so pet owners can properly pamper their pooch.
This is the research paper we have created. We started with a base outline just laying out the information, and then from there we analyzed and explained all of our information.
