5-18-21 Final Practice Pitch
Today our teacher was nice enough to allow us the chance to present our pitch in front of the class and receive critiques from our fellow classmates. It was an overall experience as Tom manned the slides, Zach spoke, and Jolie was moral support. The pitch went very well overall, with positive feedback and some important critiques. Ms, Matuzack recommending a few changes to the pitch and the slides, but otherwise, it went pretty well. Following the practice run our classmates had written down their own critiques and comments. And the feedback was very helpful, it gave us a good insight into a few things we needed to change. Like addressing how our project meets the theme of this years Expo Fest.
5-12-21 Pitch Perfect
With the window to improve our launch over we've moved on practicing the pitch, editing the pitch slides, and doing some last-minute research to prepare for possible questions. Tom was on slide duty, adding in more slides and images to create a better visual aid for the pitch. Also acting as the timer while Zach practiced reciting, memorizing, and improving the overall tone of the pitch. Jolie did some further research into the study and other works on dogs' behavior in relation to technology applicable to our product. Adding to the research document, and documentation accordingly.
4-6-21 Fixing up the Little Things
With this being our actual last class day to edit the launch profile a large part of our time has been spent revising and editing things that we got docked points on. We had a team meeting deciding who needed to do what. With each of us splitting off and doing our own things to fix up the profile, Jolie has been working on the research paper adding and editing to it to ensure that it's as good as possible. Toms been spreading out the info on the launch making it easier to navigate, as well as implementing many of coach Gary's suggestions. And Zach has been working on similar things to Tom, adding new sections and better mapping out the Launch Profile, and designing a thumbnail for our project trailer. As well as making a slideshow to better visualize the progression of our product.
5-4-21 Meeting With Coach Gary
Today we had a google meet with coach Gary outlining what we needed to focus on and work on to make sure our project is ready for Expo Fest. Coach Gary offered us a lot of good advice on how to improve our launch Profile. One of the big things he highlighted was an elaboration and expanding how our information is displayed and where it is on the Launch Profile. To help make it more friendly to be viewed by the judges. He also suggested some new ways to display our information.
