Data collection spanned across two areas: interviews with teachers that covered the importance of poetry in education, and a survey given to high school students that introduces the idea of publication and gauging student interest in writing.

"Traveling poet Brian Sonia-Wallace has made a career of helping people tell their stories with the help of a vintage typewriter through on-demand poetry.
