My inspiration for this project is my brother Jordan. He was diagnosed with autism when he was younger and has now come to the realization that he needs support from others more than he used to think.

For Connected, my audience is all people in the autism community. People with autism, friends and family or even just supporters.

The theme for this year is breaking boundaries and by definition, breaking boundaries means we're integrating connections, communications, conversations, and community into our thinking and doing. Breaking boundaries in awareness and fostering connections is the goal of Connected.

My research outline contains a background section that validates my idea through resources.

Connections link everyone together; connections are the food for society. Being able to make connections, share stories, and spread the word is a process that occurs everyday. But not everyone knows where to find help or even where to start.

Using modern day technology to help guide its audience of those affected by autism and their loved ones in the right direction to get support through their journeys.

The problem I am trying to solve is the loss of connection between people in society, and in the autism community. It will focus on how to find help to fix those severed connections.
