Initial brainstorming, research on vertical farming of tomatoes lead to the realization that traditional farming consumes a tremendous amount of land. Seeing an opportunity we began discussing our own take on vertical farming.

Conducted research to understand more about vertical farming. Discovered that hydroponics and soil-grown vertical farming was a potential choice for our project.

Planning to put together experiments lead to research on the conditions lettuce would need to be in to survive. Due to a lack of ability to find research regarding the best distance the grow light should be at led to an experiment designed to produce results that would provide such data.
