Mentor Involvement
Meet Doctor Ira stone, founder and owner of Stone Veterinary Hospital in Watertown, CT. Dr. Stone is very qualified, having earned his undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut and Michigan State University, and his doctorate from Michigan State University in Veterinary Medicine. He is also a member of the American Veterinary Association, the Connecticut Veterinary Medical Association, and the Litchfield County Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Stone also happens to be the vet we take my precious baby boy Elvis to, and a friend of my family, so he was very willing to work with me and cooperate to provide any assistance he could. Dr. Stone ended being a key contributor to my project, as I had been struggling to come up with a type of anxiety to address in my third song, and then he offered to allow me to bring him to his office to conduct my experiment there with his help and said it would be perfect because Elvis gets anxious when he travels. This gave me the perfect idea for my third song: travel anxiety. Not only that but he gave me the inspiration behind my experiment, even if he couldn’t be involved in it anymore due to the Coronavirus situation. And lastly, he even offered to be a part of my community outreach. I could not be more excited and thankful to have him on board as part of the team. Thank You Doctor Stone!!
