glamrock freddy: his endoskeleton is a lot thinner than pervious ones. it run on batteries  and have lots of wires everywhere. he chest compartment is not part of the animatronic, its more part of the outer shell of it. unlike the other animatronics these are more connected to internet and other things; closer to an advanced AI than anything. in the game there are many references to them running online, being able to connect to other part of technology around the pizzaplex, for example freddy is able to connect to gregorys watch and speak to him with it

research for the puppet

another animatronic i wanna spend more time looking into is glamrock freddy because of his opening chest area and his facial recognition software. because i didn’t write about any fnaf 2 characters with facial recognition so if i look into glamrock freddy and the puppet i get to gain more info on interesting info on facial recognition. i also can not find any info on the puppet having an endoskeleton so i can either look for irl examples of robots with a skinnier frame or just look into that less and focus on other features. ~ nico ♡☆

i have not found much info on the inner workings of the puppet based on the game so i think for that i’m going to have to dive into more fan theories about how that could be done, or look into real life animatronic that have a similar build or purpose. the puppets purpose is to sort of be a security guard so if i look into security bots maybe i can find something there. ~ nico ♡☆

I’m learning more about spring locks and how the spring-lock suit for spring trap would work. I’ve learned how they wind up the spring locks in the game. they turn a hand crank that recoils and compresses the parts turning it from an animatronic to a suit. its very important to make sure the spring-locks are wound tight. and they are very sensitive to water, breathing on the locks can cause moisture causing the locks to snap into whoever is wearing it, then the sharp steel and hard plastic will be instantly driven into your body :) ~ nico ♡☆

heres my reasoning for each animatronic i chose
i chose freddy because he has the most “normal” animatronic body, most like the chuck e cheese animatronics
the puppet because he has a very different silhouette than the others
spring trap because he is one of only 2 string lock suits in fnaf and springlock suits don’t exist in real life, meaning the research i do on it can look more into fan theories
circus baby because of her scooper and her lore
glamrock freddy because he is from the most recent game and has a compartment in his chest
im most excited about circus baby because i know that she canonly runs on pneumatic so i can look into whatever that is.

I researched the differences in animatronics from chuck e cheese throughout the years.
they first started out being built from the waist up in frames popping out of the wall.
made for the adults entertainment.
then they slowly went from slightly more advanced animatronics, to the mascot suit. ~ nico ♡☆

my project is about five nights at freddy's and how these animatronics work. I've found resources talking about how chuck-e-cheese style animatronics work, and theories based on the games on how reminate would work. though the theory on reminate will be less important to my entire project as ill be just focusing on how the animatronics work normally. I've also found an article going over the evolution of these animatronics throughout the years, so I could possibly explain how the animatronics from each game would look like, endoskeleton-wise. ~ nico <3 ☆
